Stewardship
Cultivate a culture of generosity. The Bible says: Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life. – 1 Timothy 6:18-19 (NIV)
Budget
Allocate money strategically. Make your budget choices completely dependent on what you are called to do, who you are called to reach and how God has called you to reach them.
Staffing
Identify and make qualified ministry hires. Outline a search process and ensure a reasonable timeline to find quality candidates. Communicate with ministry stakeholders, key leaders and position candidates throughout the process.
Teams
Build a high capacity team. Make staff meetings as much about motivating and encouraging people as about the meeting’s agenda. Be prepared and efficient, maintaining forward momentum. The team needs motivation, encouragement and ongoing development to push forward, maintain focus and achieve key objectives.
Multisites
Multiply reach in new areas. Regional campuses—or multisites—play a major role in many multiplication strategies. By extending its reach into new areas underserved or unreached by other churches, a multiplying church can mobilize its people, money, strategy, mission and vision for maximum effect across an entire region.
Logistics
Manage limited ministry resources with useful forms, policies and resources.
