Vision-Aligned Position Guidelines

Completed Annually

While Job Descriptions provide a general snapshot of each position, Position Guidelines (PGs) are more specific. They align time and tasks around ministry vision and values. Since they describe core responsibilities for a ministry position, PGs are often used in regular one-on-one coaching and annual evaluations.

PGs detail specific tasks for each worker and record a strategy-driven allocation of work hours:

  • Major Ministry Divisions & Focus Points
  • Time Percentages
  • Work Hours
  • Specific Tasks Enumerated
  • Other Expectations Detailed
  • Minister’s Signature and Date
